Curt Biehn, Mississippi Lime Company (MLC) Flue Gas Treatment (FGT) business director was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2019 Reinhold Conference in Birmingham, Alabama.
Biehn has worked for MLC for nearly 12 years. During that time, he has been recognized as an instrumental resource for the coal-fired utility industry. Prior to joining MLC, he worked for Elementis Pigments and Afton Chemical.
In Biehn's current role, he has oversight for MLC’s business development, product development and applications technology for all FGT-related opportunities. He holds three patents that highlight the value that he has brought to provide novel, cost-effective acid-gas control technologies to the industry.
